International Missions
Missions at FPC
We dedicate ourselves to the task of missions for the glory of God. Missions is calling the world to worship the One True God. At FPC, we support the work of missions in a number of ways:
- Sending out long-term and short-term missionaries from our congregation.
- Financially supporting other missionaries whose works align with our goals and priorities.
Financial support for our work is mainly raised through Faith Promise giving. Once a year we ask our congregation to pledge financial commitments beyond what they give to our regular annual budget. Our Faith Promise pledges collected in November of 2009 for the year of 2010 was over $144,000.
Currently, we have missionaries serving in the following international locations: Croatia, Uganda, China, Peru, Greece, Kenya, India, South Africa, and Tanzania. We also support international mission works locally among the Brazilian popluation in Lowell, MA, and student ministries at Boston University, MIT, and Bradley University in Illinois.
